Pruett Leaving Memphis

Sam Pruett, former director of the University of Arkansas’ Genesis Technology Incubator, is now leaving Memphis Incubator Systems Inc. to launch his own international consulting business.

A Memphis publication reported that Pruett’s first project as an independent consultant would be in Finland, and after that he has other work lined up with a solar power consortium.

Pruett said the time is right to leave Memphis.

Pruett hasn’t left yet, but the Bluff City’s incubator has already hired his replacement.
