Susan Barrett and Matt Mawby were recently elected to the board of directors at Arvest Bank in Rogers.
Barrett is the CEO of St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers and Mercy Health System of Northwest Arkansas. Mawby is the vice president, general manager and part owner of Professional Business Systems in Rogers.
“Even though Susan is fairly new to the area, she has established herself as a proven leader in the community, particularly in the rapidly changing health care field,” said Rob Brothers, president of Rogers’ Arvest bank.
“And Matt is a very promising businessman. Our board is not an old board by any stretch, but he brings us a bright, young, successful businessman’s perspective to the bank.”
Mawby is the youngest member at 35.
The board now has 15 members — Jim Walton, Carl Baggett (chairman), Brothers, Dick Trammel, Don Soderquist, Charles Reaves, Dick Daniel, Dr. Bob Matlock, Ken Ewing, Janie Darr, Dr. Rob Lewis, Reese Garner, Dave Powell, Barrett and Mawby.
