Springdale’s Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. announced that unaudited annual sales for the year ended Dec. 31, increased to $28.3 million, up 38 percent from $20.5 million in 1999. AERT manufactures and markets composite wood and plastic building materials.
Annual sales for AERT’s composite manufacturing facility in Junction, Texas, were estimated at $12.6 million, compared to $10.9 million for 1999. Located in Springdale, the company’s plastics unit increased annual sales to about $15.7 million, up 65.3 percent from $9.5 million in 1999.
