The Shiloh Christian Saints of Springdale and the Springdale High School Bulldogs could be trying to settle their gridiron tie from the 2000 football season in Fayetteville this fall.
Officials from both schools are trying to see about having the Saints and Bulldogs square off at Reynolds Razorback Stadium the same weekend of the Arkansas-Tennessee game (Sept. 8) there.
The two teams battled to a 7-7 tie on Springdale’s home field last season. Shiloh Christian doesn’t have the seating capacity the game demands, but is not overly crazy about the prospect of returning for a second consecutive year to SHS.
Last season’s Shiloh Christian head coach, Gus Malzahn, will be guiding the 2001 Springdale squad after replacing legendary high school coach Jarrell Williams.
