Sodexho What?

Sodexho Marriott Services Inc. of Europe will move its local office from Walton Arena into Reynolds Razorback Stadium upon completion of the current expansion and renovation.

Sodexho took over as the Razorbacks’ concessionaire when it replaced Swanson Corp. of Omaha, Neb. Sodexho, whose U.S. headquarters are in Gaithersburg, Md., took over the Swanson account valued at $7.6 million in 1999. It included food and supplies for all concession stands, sky boxes, club seats and press boxes at Razorback Stadium, Walton Arena, Baum Stadium and the Randal Tyson Indoor Track Complex. The Sodexho contract is for 10 years.

Sodexho will have a full kitchen in Razorback Stadium where “They will be able to prepare anything,” UA Athletic Director Frank Broyles said.

Sodexho made what Broyles said was a “major contribution” to the UA’s concession facilities.
