Wilhite and Wall Take Show to Europe

Darren Wilhite and Tim Wall, co-hosts of the morning show on KIX 104 radio, took their show on the road to England and Germany in mid-October.
The pair traveled overseas for the “Wilhite & Wall-Mart Tour,” broadcasting from Wal-Mart stores in London and Germany from Oct. 16-20.
Wilhite and Wall got the idea last spring and pitched it to Wal-Mart executives.
The tour was sponsored by Wal-Mart, American Eagle Airlines and KIX 104. Wilhite and Wall took their show to Russia in 1996, becoming the first American country radio disc jockeys to broadcast from that country.
