Ben Israel of Dixie Development Inc. in Springdale on Aug. 28 got a $472,000 loan from Community Bank to purchase five acres of commercial property in Fayetteville.
rThe property is located on Joyce Boulevard, just east of Paradise Valley Athletic Club on the north side of the road.
rIsrael plans to sub-divide the acreage into 1.5-acre lots. It has yet to go before the planning commission.
rIsrael also has six acres on the corner of Joyce and Old Missouri Road where he will begin construction soon on Commerce Park, a four-building, 70,000-SF commercial facility.
rHe already has 30,000 SF leased. About 400 feet of Commerce Park property will front Joyce while another 400 feet will front Old Missouri.
rThere will be two medical clinics at Commerce Park, taking up a combined 22,000 SF.
rThe target date for completion of Commerce Park is spring.
