FAC Becomes National Champs
The Fayetteville Athletic Club topped about 200 similar facilities in a nationwide competition of Biometrics programs. The contest ran from April 1 through June 30.
Biometrics is a national program that helps people with fitness and weight-loss goals. FAC was selected as the most successful biometrics program in the country. It won by enrolling and helping more people accomplish their fitness objectives using the Biometrics fitness program.
“We didn’t even know about the competition until we received a fax from Biometrics in the middle of May stating that we were, at that time, just one program behind the leader,” said Renessa Dunlap, Biometrics program coordinator for FAC.
A six-week program for members is $325, and $375 for non-members. It includes a meal plan with recipes, consultation with a program director/registered dietitian, an initial and final profile, and three weeks of one-on-one training followed by three weeks with floating trainers.
Biometrics employs circuit and strength training to tone the body, not bulk it up. It also uses a customized meal plan that meets, participants’ food preferences and nutritional needs. The program is designed to train the metabolism to work faster, help people lose weight and inches and change their entire body composition by increasing lean muscle tissue and decreasing excess body fat.
