Purchase Drummonds up Bentonville Office Space

Joy and Lamar Drummonds bought three acres containing a 5,600-SF office building at 304 Airport Road in Bentonville. The property is just off South Walton Boulevard between the city and the regional airport.
The Drummonds bought the property Feb. 28 for $619,000 from Ron and Karen Buckman and Bob and Betty Harlow.
Dorel Industries Inc., a maker of outdoor furniture, currently leases the existing building. The city of Bentonville has approved a large scale development plan for three additional office buildings on the site that will total 22,000 to 23,000 SF.
The Shearin-Hathaway Group Inc. in Rogers brokered the deal. General contractors for the new construction have not yet been selected.
