Sam Mathias, through his Mathias Properties, got $3.4 million in financing in December from Arkansas National Bank and Bank of Arkansas.
He’s using $1.9 million to add a KFC restaurant and 22,500-SF of retail space to his Center Point West development at 1110 Mathias Drive in Springdale. The remaining $1.5 million came from Arkansas National Bank to finish out his Ozark Center Point Place at 5320 W. Sunset Ave.
The latter will add 52,500 SF to what used to be the Ozark Factory Outlet Mall at the corner of U.S. Highways 71 and 412.
Mathias’ company, MP Construction Co., is the general contractor. He and his brother, John Mathias, will lease 37,500 SF of the space for their Boots & Spurs Western Outfitters store.
