Marinoni Finds Amore In Mulitude Of Projects
Marinoni Construction Co. of Fayetteville is doing $3.8 million worth of projects from Bentonville to Fort Smith.
John Marinoni, chairman of the board, and Stephen L. Smith, company president, are overseeing work on the $1.4 million North Arkansas Radiation Treatment Institute Benton County facility and the adjacent $361,800 Highlands Oncology Group.
The facilities, at 1202 S.E. Eagle Way in Bentonville, are just north of the Mercy Medical Center and West of Northwest Arkansas Community College.
The 6,500-SF NARTI center, led by executive director Eddie Bradford, will feature a unit that is expected to treat cancer patients more quickly and efficiently. The facility will also use a system that will recycle water for climate heating purposes, and it has a concrete vault built especially for cancer treatment machines.
The 4,500-SF Highlands building will be connected to NARTI Benton County by a breezeway.
The company is building the $1.8 million, 12,500-SF fine arts addition and doing substantial remodeling to Southside High School at 4100 Gary St. in Fort Smith. That project is supposed to be completed in February of 2000.
Marinoni is also building a $250,000, 6,000-SF office/plant for Bitworks Inc. in the Prairie Grove Industrial Park. Bitworks designs computer mother boards on spec.
