Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. reported a sales increase of 80 percent for the quarter ended March 31. The company said sales exceeded $4.5 million, up $2 million from the same quarter in 1998.
CEO Joe G. Brooks said in a written statement that the company’s Springdale plant “is now contributing in a significant way to the company’s much improved financial position. The second production line has been critical to the positive cash flow now being generated.”
AERT has scheduled a plant tour and open house for shareholders from 4 to 7 p.m. on May 7.
