Dr. William R. Beschnett, a chiropractor, and his wife, Phyllis C. Beschnett, of Waseca, Minn., paid $800,000 for The Summit strip mall at 1706 S. Walton Blvd. in Bentonville.
The couple bought the 10,000-SF property Jan. 8 from Jim Sellers through his Bentonville company, Mountain Development Inc. The mall is occupied by Esthethiques the Spa, Communications Plus and the Bank of Arkansas Mortgage Group.
Arkansas National Bank issued the Beschnetts’ mortgage for the property that includes a 1.4-acre parcel with 45 parking spaces.
The Beschnetts plan to retire in Bella Vista, where they have already purchased a town house and are looking to acquire additional properties.
