G.I. Trucking Co.

G.I. Trucking Co., a subsidiary of Arkansas Best Corp. of Fort Smith, opened a terminal in Industry, Calif., on Aug.3

The Industry terminal will relocate almost 30 percent of the pickup and delivery volume currently handled by G.I.’s largest facility in La Mirada, Calif. The new facility gives G.I. Trucking 13 terminals in California.

G.I. Trucking previously announced terminal openings in Albuquerque, N.M.; El Paso, Texas; Oklahoma City; Tulsa, Okla.; and Kansas City, Kan. G.I. Trucking is a Western region less-than-truckload carrier that services the 14 Western contiguous states as well as Alaska and Hawaii.
