Stogie’s opened its third Northwest Arkansas location in June. In addition to a wide selection of cigars, the new Rogers location sports the largest humidor in the Midwestern United States, says Stogie’s owner Grant Harasyn.

“I’ve been to over 600 cigar stores and have never seen a humidor of this size,” says Harasyn of the 1,000-SF item. “Our customer base was expanding and asking for more and more variety, so we had to move in order to provide that service. And our new site is more readily accessible.”

Stogie’s houses more than 750 kinds of cigars. Brands include Cohiba, Montecristo, Bahia, Butera, Paul Garmerian and Padron. Latham Cabinets of Springdale built the humidor from Spanish cedar, which Harasyn says is the best choice of materials for a humidor.

Customers may enjoy their purchases as well as free coffee in the store’s smoking lounge.

Stogie’s also sells cigar accessories, such as cutters, lighters, ashtrays, humidors, imported cigarettes and rolling tobacco. Harasyn has expanded his line in the Rogers store to include wallets, art and magazines.

Harasyn says he plans two additional Stogie’s franchises this year. He is also expanding his business to include the distribution of cigars, and he is in the process of creating his own cigar and coffee brands.
