Nibbles Gets Stout

Morgan Stout, sous chef at James at the Mill in Johnson, is leaving that job to be executive managing chef at Nibbles Gourmet Catering in Fayetteville.

Suzie Stephens, who owns Nibbles Gourmet Catering and Nibbles Food Emporium, says Stout will begin his new job in July.

Stout, a native of Baton Rouge, La., worked as sous chef at Cassinelli’s 1700 in Little Rock before joining James at the Mill, where he has been cooking for the past three years.

Stephens says she’s moving her retail store to an, as of yet, undisclosed location so she can expand her catering business at the current site, 3290 N. Lee Ave. Also, Randall Wright, owner of Wright & Associates, a special-events planner, says he’s moving his business into Stephens’ old showroom at the Lee Avenue location. Wright managed Parties Galore for the past four years.

Brenda Bruce, manager of Nibbles Food Emporium, has been promoted to executive vice president of AICDI Inc., the company that owns the retail store.

Stephens says Nibbles Gourmet Catering will be featured in the July issue of Catering Magazine, a national publication.
