Another new restaurant is coming to Northwest Arkansas.
Two Little Rock businessmen are remodeling the former Pizza Hut building at 1900 W. Walnut St. in Rogers to accommodate a Kettle Restaurant. The men hope to have the restaurant open by July 1.
Michael Connell and Maxie Bracy signed a five-year lease on the building in mid-May through the corporate name of Little Rock Operators Inc. The men also operate a Kettle Restaurant in Little Rock. Connell, president of the company, has moved to the area temporarily to supervise the modifications to the building and get the restaurant started.
Bracy says he isn’t concerned about the increasing competition among restaurants in the area. The Kettle is a national chain that is open 24 hours, seven days a week. Not many restaurants in the area offer that kind of service, Bracy says.
