Tango’s Changes Menu, Open for Lunch
Tangos, a fine-dining restaurant at 31 E. Center St. in Fayetteville, changed its menu and began serving lunch May 11.
Destina Moga, owner of the restaurant, says the menu change is seasonal. She plans to change the menu every six months. During the winter months, the restaurant is only open for dinner.
Moga says a patio is now open at Tangos and a banquet room that seats 40 is also available. The restaurant received a license in March to serve liquor.
Dinner entrees at Tangos range in price from $12 to $22. Lunch entrees range from $5 to $8.
Tangos is removing several items from the dinner menu, including the raspberry barbecue duck, sauteed salmon with hollandaise sauce, sauteed dijon chicken and mesquite smoked prawns.
Those items will be replaced by Mandarin duck, pistachio-crusted salmon, Madras curried chicken and Cajun shrimp with sweet potato pie and melon salsa. Mahi-mahi and swordfish are also being removed from the menu; grilled trout and panciea (a Philippine dish) are being added.
