Ghazi’s Opens Second Pesto Cafe
Ghazi Issa, co-owner with Steve Glenn of Ghazi’s Pesto Cafe in Fayetteville, opened a second restaurant May 15 in the Fayetteville building at 3075 Market Ave. that, until that day, housed Caprice, a Russian/American restaurant owned by Ben Israel.
The menu at the new restaurant may feature some Russian dishes, says Glenn, but basically it will be the same as the menu at the original Ghazi’s, which opened last year.
The new restaurant, a mile north of the 1150 N. College Ave. location, will double the dining space at Ghazi’s to 101 chairs, says Glenn. The new location will also feature a full bar, which isn’t available at the original Ghazi’s.
Caprice which opened last February, has closed.
