Bella Vista’s newest medical service is a pharmacy that offers free delivery for the town’s residents.

Medicap Pharmacies offers a 24-hour drop-off service, a drive-through window, a private consult room for patients and comprehensive computer records for storing patient information.

“We are not a department store. We are just a little 1,500-SF store that sells medicine and medical equipment,” says pharmacist and franchise owner Tom Crisler. The store also sells DaySpring Cards.

Crisler has 12 years of pharmacy experience, most recently at the Wal-Mart store in El Dorado, Kan. He and his wife, Mendi, wed six years ago and used to take their annual vacation in Bella Vista.

“We loved it. Every time we came down I would say ‘We should just move down here and open up a pharmacy,'” says Crisler. “I finally started to take myself seriously and here we are.”
