Walter R. Niblock and his wife, Marjorie, of Fayetteville received a $600,000 mortgage from the Bank of Fayetteville on May 23.
The loan is secured with the Valley View Townhouses at 1840 N. Leverett Ave. in Fayetteville. The 13,575-SF building complex was built in 1978 and was appraised in 1995 for $677,450.
The money is being used to settle an existing mortgage and to make improvements to the natural gas lines in the buildings.
