LNB To Break Ground on New Benton County Branch April 18
Legacy National Bank of Springdale will begin construction April 18 on a new banking center in the growing Pinnacle Heights area of Rogers.
A groundbreaking ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on the site, at the northwest corner of J.B. Hunt Drive and Pauline Whitaker Parkway, just west of Chuy’s restaurant.
Bank president and CEO Don Gibson said Feb. 3 the new banking center will replace the bank’s current Rogers location at 5415 Pinnacle Point Drive, which opened in 2007 as a loan production office. The 4,000-SF site was formerly the Market at Pinnacle Point, a now-defunct gourmet grocery store.
According to a deed filed Jan. 31 at the Benton County Courthouse, LNB paid Johnelle Hunt $878,169 for the 1.12-acre lot.
Gibson said Fayetteville architecture firm Ken Shireman & Associates designed the banking center, which will be similar to the bank’s new 6,000-SF branch on Joyce Boulevard in Fayetteville that opened last summer.
LNB, established in 2005, has five bank locations — three in Springdale and one each in Rogers and Fayetteville.
As of Dec. 31, according to data from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., LNB had assets totaling $267.5 million.
