K.C. Nashville
Jesse Core just can’t seem to quit. The owner of Core Brewing and Distilling Co. recently confirmed to Whispers that, yes, his brand is expanding into Rogers, and, yes, his brand is headed to Missouri and Tennessee.
“It’s going to happen,” he said.
In Rogers, Core said he is expected to open sometime in July in a brand-new, 22,000-SF building on west New Hope Road owned by Core Development LLC, a subsidiary of Core Architects of Rogers, which is not affiliated with the Core brewery. The tap room, as it’s called, will occupy a 917-SF interior and a 705-SF patio and will serve Core’s array of beers as well as moonshine.
“It just made sense,” Core said of the move to Rogers. “It’s in a location where we want to expand.”
While speaking of expansion, the real news is that Core is moving into Missouri and Tennessee. Those two states have markets that Arkansas can only dream of — Nashville and Kansas City, to be exact.
Between the two towns, the metropolitan population is about 3.5 million. Compare that to the total population of Arkansas, at about 2.9 million, and you get the picture.
