Business Forecast Luncheon Scheduled Jan. 16 in Rogers
The 20th annual Business Forecast Luncheon, hosted by the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 16 at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers.
The event will be presented by the Walton College’s Center for Business and Economic Research.
The moderator will be Donnie Smith, chief executive officer and president of Tyson Foods Inc.
Other economists who will speak include Yi Wen, assistant vice president of the St. Louis Federal Reserve Bank; Richard Yamarone, chief economist at Bloomberg; and Kathy Deck, director of the CBER.
“The chance to listen to this panel of nationally recognized experts share their knowledge and expertise about the trends in the regional, national and global economies for the coming year will provide tremendous value to business and civic leaders from Northwest Arkansas, the state and the region,” said Walton College dean Eli Jones.
