A pair of business startups based in Delhi, India, and an Arkansas team with ties to Bentonville were the three big winners at the ARK Challenge Demo Day held September 5 at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.

Mobile app developer Overwatch of Arkansas and Delhi-based startups Info Assembly and Langhar will each receive $150,000 in funding.

That’s in addition to the $20,000 in seed funding provided to all nine startups selected for the 14-week boot camp program, taking the total to $170,000.

The nine companies were chosen from 92 applications received from 15 countries and 15 states, according to The ARK Challenge website.

Info Assembly has developed a search and analytics platform for investment research. The firm claims to provide hidden insights and actionable results to data-oriented users, to help them perform hours of research in minutes.

Langhar.com is a marketplace that enables users to order food cooked by people in their homes. Langhar enables regular people to convert their homes into restaurants to earn extra income and gain popularity.

Overwatch has created a mobile app to enhance any paintball, airsoft or laser tag match by integrating the core features of online combat video games into smartphones.

Joe Saumweber and Michael Paladino, who co-founded Bentonville marketing company RevUnit in fall 2012, are two of the three principals behind Overwatch.
