Rogers Hotel Executive Earns Distinction

Kudos are in order for Annette Nichols, general manager of the Hyatt Place hotel in Rogers.

Nichols was one of four finalists for General Manager of the Year among all Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties operated by Chicago-based hotel operator Hyatt Hotels Corp. at its annual Hyatt Conference in New Orleans.

HHC operates 178 Hyatt Place hotels and 58 Hyatt House hotels in the United States.

Though she didn’t win the award, Nichols was honored recently at the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House GM Conference in New Orleans.

It’s another example of the kind of quality professionals who call Northwest Arkansas home.

And, if you’ll forgive a bit of horn-tooting, it’s another example of the quality of our Forty Under 40 program.

Nichols, promoted from director of sales to GM at Hyatt Place in 2008, was a member of our 2010 Forty Under 40 class.
