December Issue of Magazine is Suggested Reading

In case you missed it, the December issue of Fortune magazine has an entertaining Q&A that might be of particular interest to Northwest Arkansas readers.

The Q&A is with authors Walter Isaacson and John Huey, who wrote biographies of Steve Jobs and Sam Walton, respectively. We won’t offer any spoilers here, but Huey’s tale of how he carried out an assignment to get a photo of Walton is particularly funny.

Also included in the December issue of Fortune is its annual Businessperson of the Year ranking.

And while Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos took the top spot, a locally familiar name also appears on the list. Mike Duke, CEO of Wal-Mart Stores Inc., is ranked 17th on the list of 50.
