A 14,000-SF building on Appleby Drive in Fayetteville is currently sitting empty, but a new tenant has already been lined up.
Your Whispers staff has learned that Goodwill Industries of Arkansas Inc. plans to open a new retail store, donation center and career center at the site this fall, after a complete renovation.
The company plans to lease the building from a Kansas-based real estate and development company that paid $1.07 million for the property earlier this month.
The building was left empty in April when Aldi, a national discount chain, relocated.
Goodwill opened its first Fayetteville store last July at 3105 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., and operates a donation center on Steamboat Drive in Fayetteville.
