Crossland Construction of Rogers recently purchased a building permit valued at $3.26 million for the construction of a car dealership to be located at 2700 SE Moberly Lane in Bentonville.

George Nunnally Chevrolet will eventually occupy the 6-acre lot. A total of 30,750 SF of buildings will be constructed. About 12,000 SF will be a sales area and 18,750-SF is to be the service center.

Nunnally will relocate his Chevrolet dealership from 4.39 acres on Walton Boulevard. That land is for sale.

A used car lot will be built to face 28th Street, and the new car lot, which will face Moberly, will have room for about 200 cars. Crossland is the general contractor.

Civil Design Engineers Inc. of Fayetteville is doing the dirt work. Hutcherson Plumbing & Air of Fort Smith is providing the mechanical contracting.

Nunnally owns the land through his G&S Property Management LLC. G&S paid Great Northwest Development LLC $1.46 million for 6 acres in January.

J.B. Hunt LLC, Tim Graham LLC and Schwyhart Holdings LLC are the registered agents of Great Northwest Development. G&S signed a  $1 million mortgage with Arvest Bank-Bentonville for the purchase of the land.

Construction is being funded by First Security Bank. The dealership is slated for a July opening.
