More Louisiana cuisine is coming to Fayetteville.

The former home to O’Charley’s at the CMN Business Park in Fayetteville will reopen in January as Meaux Dad’s. Meaux Dad’s is owned by John Bliss, who also owns all four Buffalo Wild Wings franchises in Arkansas.

Renovations are currently under way and the restaurant is targeting a “soft” opening for Jan. 7. The most expensive item on the menu will be a steak for $20, but most entrees will be between $10 and $13, chef and general manager Steve Zangari tells us.

“We’re bringing something to Northwest Arkansas that others don’t have: Cajun food at a decent price,” he said.

Zangari worked for Bliss for the last three years at BWW and before that was executive chef at Copeland’s of New Orleans in Rogers and the River Grille in Bentonville.

O’Charley’s closed on May 25.
