Park Opens Spot For Steak, Sushi

Jonathan Park, owner of Shogun Express in Bentonville, opened Blu Fin at 4276 W. Sunset Ave. in Springdale on Oct. 1.
The 1,400-SF restaurant specializes in Japanese cuisine and will fill a need for residents and people who work in west Springdale, Park said.
Blu Fin has seating for about 50, a full bar and “the best sake selection available in town.” Menu items range from steak to salad to sushi.
One of Park’s specialties is “Hot Rock” filet mignon, which is a 6 ounce steak served on a hot stone over a flame. The customer finishes grilling the steak at their table.
There is also a full sushi bar with standard and specialty rolls, including the Blu Fin Roll, which is spicy crab and avocado topped with seared tuna and scallions.
The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4:30 to 10 p.m. Park said he purchased the Shogun Express from Jon Pak in June 2006.
