Bentonville Property Makes Profit (Whispers)
Arthur Osowski must have known something when he purchased nearly 21 acres of land on 28th Street in Bentonville in 1987. The undeveloped pastureland recently netted him more than $5.8 million.
In August, Bill Schwyhart, former principal in The Pinnacle Group, purchased Osowski’s property for just more than $6 million.
For Osowski, who purchased the land for $200,000, that equals around a $280,000 profit per acre and one heck of a payday.
That’s what we like to call investing for the future.
