New Hotel Makes Bentonville King of Rooms in Region

Bentonville will be landing more lodging with a Suburban Extended Stay Hotel planned along Walton Boulevard.
The chain is a division of Choice Hotels and is sure to tap into the many vendors doing business with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. The hotel is planned for 100 rooms, but no timetable was available. A plumbing permit has been filed with the Arkansas Department of Health but no building permit has been filed with the city.
The hotel will be owned by KSDT Lodging LLC of Overland Park, Kan., and was designed by Howard and Helmer Architects, also of Overland Park.
The planned, nearly complete and recently opened hotels in Bentonville will eventually push the total available rooms to more than 2,100, giving the city the most hotel rooms in Northwest Arkansas.
