NAHBA Goes on Ad Offensive
Unfavorable headlines about the residential real estate market have forced the Northwest Arkansas Home Builders Association to take action.
The NAHBA is spending $80,000 for positive advertisements about Northwest Arkansas. It received $40,000 from the National Association of Home Builders and local homebuilders matched the funds.
“Local people have been comparing local stuff to what’s happening nationally and that doesn’t reflect what’s going on here,” said Bob Musson, an area vice president of the Arkansas HBA who’s also on the national board of directors.
The ads are three-quarters of a page and will run in the local dailies during the month of June to coincide with National Home Ownership Month. The NAHBA also may run radio and TVs spots as well.
