360 Leadership Series

The April speaker in the Spring Leadership Series  is John McFarland. John McFarland is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Baldor Electric Company. He began his career with the Company on a part-time basis while in college in 1970. Since that time he’s held a number of positions in marketing and sales, including Vice President of International Sales, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and President. In 2009, John received the Community Leadership Award for Business and Industry from the Leadership Fort Smith Alumni Association. Mr. McFarland is a native of Fort Smith where he lives with his wife, Kim. He attended Westark College and is a graduate of John Brown University with a BS in Organizational Management.
