Dixie Development & Management LP is making its first major venture into the Oklahoma commercial real estate market.
The $200 million project is planned for Broken Arrow, Okla. Dixie plans to build a 300,000-SF to 400,000-SF commercial development, or “lifestyle center,” on 39 acres. The development will include retail, restaurant and entertainment space.
Jeff Johnson, project manager and director of leasing for Dixie, told the Tulsa Business Journal that ground breaking will begin this spring.
Dixie is also in the process of purchasing 66 acres on the west side of the project for Phase II development.
Dixie has not yet selected a contractor or architect.
