The National Institutes of Health has awarded NanoMech a $750,000 Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase II grant.The money will be used to develop turnkey deposition systems for the application of NanoMech coatings for medical applications. The coatings are designed to improve the lifespan and functionality of medical implants, such as dental and hip implants.
