Perry’s Jewelry & Fine Gifts of Fayetteville plans to open a store in Rogers’ Pinnacle Hills area on July 1.

The 3,500-SF store, called Perry’s at Pinnacle, will be in a space that previously housed Murphy’s Jewelers.

“We’ll be the only independent [jeweler] with two locations,” said Hoyt Perry, whose grandfather Hoyt James Perry founded the company in Springdale in 1948.

The family moved the store to Rogers, then Fayetteville, where it currently is located at 4075 N. College Ave.

Perry’s bought the stock and fixtures from Murphy’s, which was owned by Danny White. Murphy’s closed at the end of April. The building is owned by The Pinnacle Group.

Alice Walker of Creative Concepts, the Springdale agency handling advertising for Perry’s, said Perry’s will sell the remainder of Murphy’s stock in addition to unique items of its own. One of its lines, in fact, is called Uneek fine jewelry.
