Stephens Inc. Opens New Office in Connecticut

Little Rock-based private bank Stephens Inc. opened an office in New Haven, Conn., on Jan. 12.
Frank Thomas, spokesman for Stephens, said the office is a private client group with five employees, all of whom had previous contacts in the New Haven market. Thomas said the new group was not an acquisition of an existing investment branch but an opportunity to grow Stephens’ footprint.
Stephens now has 12 such private client groups mainly across the South reaching to the Northeast, including groups in Fayetteville; Austin, Texas; New York City; and St. Petersburg, Fla.
