Lindsey Buys Hunting Land

Duck hunter extraordinaire John David Lindsey has apparently spent about $2.2 million to acquire 700 acres of duck and deer hunting land in the Black Swamp near Augusta. That’s more than $3,100 per acre, although not that high considering what similar property goes for around duck mecca Stuttgart.

Lindsey is the sales manager of Lindsey & Associates Inc. in Rogers and the son of local real estate mogul Jim Lindsey.

An expert duck caller, John David Lindsey has hunted the L’Anguille River bottoms near Forrest City for decades. He has three champion black Labrador retrievers named Guage, Laz and Will.
