Orthodontist Opens Third Office in Year

Orthodontist Dr. William “Bill” Pickard left Monarch Dental Associates early last year and has now opened his third office in the area under the name Arkansas Orthodontics.
Pickard’s Bentonville office at 1400 SE Walton Blvd. opened this month, while offices in Fayetteville and Fort Smith opened in late February last year. Pickard and part of his staff travel to attend to appointments at the three locations on different days of the week. Pickard is interviewing dentists and orthodontists, and he plans to “move into more of a mentor role” with his staff in coming months, Pickard said.
Pickard, principal owner of Arkansas Orthodontics Inc., said the company will expand even more. Plans are to open eight additional orthodontic offices in the state over the next four years.
“We’re in an expansion phase right now,” Pickard said. “We’re growing at four to five times the normal growth rate.”
Pickard has 18 employees. The new Bentonville office is 3,300 SF. The Fayetteville office at 3533 North Shiloh Drive, Suite 3, is 2,100 SF. The Fort Smith office at 4400 Rogers Ave., Suite C, is 2,300 SF.
