Julie Davis, a spokesperson for Logan’s Roadhouse confirmed that the company is looking for a location in Fayetteville.

“I don’t have anything specific to tell you at this point,” she said. “I know we’re interested. Fayetteville would be a great place to have a restaurant.”

Logan’s Roadhouse, part of CBRL Group Inc. of Nashville, Tenn., was founded in 1991. Currently, CBRL has 96 company-owned Logan’s Roadhouses and 16 franchise restaurants in 17 states. The stores, which are modeled after 1930s and 1940s roadhouses, feature steaks as well as hamburgers and other meals.

CBRL also owns Cracker Barrell Old Country Store. There were 480 Cracker Barrel stores nationwide as of Aug. 1, which was the end of the company’s fiscal year. CBRL saw revenue increase by 6.1 percent in fiscal 2003 from $2.1 billion to $2.2 billion. Income jumped 16.6 percent from $91.8 million to $106.5 million.
