American Venture Resource Association, the national equity guarantee insurance program that considered starting in Arkansas, and its affiliated AVRA Financial Inc. has gone to “The Big D.” R.D. Callagy, who was unavailable for comment, is AVRA’s new president and CEO at 2 Galleria Tower in Dallas.r

Back in February, AVRA ran a statement on its Web site that said, “The first state in which The AVRA Program will begin to operate is Arkansas.” r

But that apparently fell through.r

Started by Dr. Allan Isen of Sun Valley, Idaho, AVRA sought institutional investors, large corporations, foundations and banks to help establish a multimillion-dollar reserve fund that would guarantee investments. r
