?Today? Will Come
Connie Hendrix-Kral, director of donor relations for the Northwest Arkansas Community Foundation, apparently responded to the right survey for a woman who thrives on positive publicity. A television crew from the NBC Today Show will soon be in town to follow Hendrix-Kral through her work day, visit with her family and talk with her about family finances.
The segment in which she’ll be featured is on “money and happiness,” Hendrix-Kral said. Hendrix-Kral and her husband Tim Kral carefully planned their family, having their now 8-year-old daughter when the couple was able to financially handle a five-year hiatus from work for Hendrix-Kral. Her fundraising position at the Community Foundation also attracted the show’s interest for the segment.
Hendrix-Kral said the family finances survey she completed just prior to Labor Day didn’t indicate it was actually a screening for a television feature. The segment is expected to air sometime in the coming weeks, but Hendrix-Kral isn’t sure when.
