Lenny’s Sub Shop closed its restaurant in Fayetteville’s Three Sisters building in mid June. The restaurant had been open since September 2000.

A second Fayetteville location, on Joyce Boulevard, will remain open.

The location on Dickson Street was owned by Lenny’s of Tennessee LLC, which is based in Memphis and includes five partners.

A woman who answered the telephone at the corporate headquarters said, “Len [Moore] has no comment about that,” referring to the company president and the closing in Fayetteville.

Lenny’s occupied a 2,200-SF space that was home for 20 years to Restaurant on the Corner, which has since merged with The Grill to become The Corner Grill and relocated to a building on Arkansas Highway 112.

Lenny’s has 45 restaurants: 12 in Memphis, 10 elsewhere in Tennessee, seven in Florida, six in Mississippi, four in Georgia and three in each Arkansas and Alabama.
