Lampkin, Mitchell Honored By PRSA

Northwest Arkansas’ Public Relations Society of America chapter recently named Steven B. Lampkin 2002 “communicator of the year” and Elise Mitchell “public relations professional of the year.”
Lampkin is president and CEO of Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. Mitchell is president of Mitchell Communications Group Inc. of Fayetteville and the local PRSA chapter’s first president.
The honorees were nominated by members of the Northwest Arkansas chapter and the local community and selected by a panel of judges from the Western Michigan chapter of PRSA.
The “communicator of the year” is an external award presented by the chapter to a person who is not a PRSA member and is not necessarily a public relations professional.
