The Procter & Gamble Distributing Co. in Fayetteville, which already employs about 250 people, is looking into further expansion.
Tom Muccio, head of the Fayetteville location that services its Wal-Mart Stores Inc. accounts, said the company is “evaluating a number of options.”
The Cincinnati-based firm has two buildings on Millsap Road at CMN Business Park. Muccio said in order to be sensitive to the employees who have relocated to Fayetteville, moving to Benton County is not an option. There could be additional space leased or built, he said, perhaps even one building large enough to house all of the employs.
“But it will be two or three months before we make any decisions,” Muccio said.
Procter & Gamble employs 106,000 nationwide. It manufactures and markets more than 250 products to more than five billion consumers in 130 countries throughout the world.
