Neither Rain, Snow or Gloom of Night …
We were impressed in the early morning ice of Dec. 4 when we found our copy of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s Fayetteville edition safely tucked at our office doorstep. That level of service surely also impressed residential subscribers who were happy not to have to scamper out into the snow in their jammies.
However, the D-G’s Bentonville edition that one or our editors receives at a Benton County residence continues to be thrown farther and farther north — to the point where we expect it to be some day delivered in Noel, Mo. We have even called and asked that it just land somewhere in the driveway. But so far, no such luck.
As for our office copy of The Morning News, it’s still being thrown somewhere between Dickson Street and the Fayetteville square.
