Lindsey, Woodworks Add to Simsberry

John David Lindsey Development on Aug. 5 secured five loans totaling $1.98 million from Arvest Bank to build homes at a west Bentonville subdivision.

Simsberry Place subdivision is located just off Central Avenue west of Walton Boulevard. It neighbors Kristyl Heights subdivision.

Woodworks Plus of Farmington also got five loans totaling $780,000 on July 29 from First National Bank of Springdale to build homes at Simsberry Place. Those homes will range from 2,200-2,500 SF each.

Anders Building Large Springdale Warehouse

Sterling Anders of the Anders Family LP on Aug. 9 purchased a building permit valued at $1.86 million to build the shell of a large warehouse/ office building in west Springdale.

Located at 810 and 812 Rieff St., the warehouse will be 95,259 SF.

Rieff Street is one block west of 40th Street and connects with Sunset Avenue.

The Anders will be leasing space at the facility.

Architectural Construction Inc. of Springdale is the general contractor on the project. It is targeted to be completed by late this year.

First Security Bank to Get New Springdale Facility

First Security Bank purchased a building permit Aug. 8 for $958,000 to build a new home for its Springdale location.

The facility will be at 2863 W. Sunset Ave., the same address of its current mobile bank.

FSB also has two banks in Fayetteville, two in Rogers and one in Bella Vista.

The new Springdale facility will be 13,968 SF.

James Cone Inc. of Little Rock will be the general contractor on the FSB branch.

Superior Auto Mall Adds Siloam Springs Facility

David Slone and Dean Rollins of Superior Auto Mall LLC on July 31 purchased the land of a former Siloam Springs automobile dealership for $800,000.

Devore Motors Inc. became Superior Auto Mall on Aug. 1. It is located at 504 U.S. Highway 412 in Siloam Springs, on about three acres. Rollins will be the manager of the Siloam Springs dealership.

Devore Motors was owned by David and Loretta Devore.

Slone and Avis Bailey are the principals of Superior Automotive Group of Fayetteville.

The new Siloam Springs dealership will hold about 300 cars on its lot, including Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, GMC Trucks, Pontiac and Buick vehicles.

Centro Cristiano Hispano to Add Springdale Church

Centro Cristiano Hispano Church on Aug. 9 purchased a building permit valued at $787,000 to build a church in west Springdale.

Located at 1751 N. 56th St. west of Ozark Center Point Place, the church will be 14,000 SF.

Wilkins Homes Inc. of Springdale is the general contractor on the church.

The church’s affiliation also has locations in both Rogers and Bentonville.

Griffin, Taldo Building Luxury Springdale Units

Gary Griffin and Philip Taldo of One Springdale Inc. on Aug. 20 purchased three building permits valued at a combined $630,180 to build three luxury townhouses in Springdale.

The townhouses are in 5-plexes. Each unit will be 1,088 SF. They will be located on Orchard Street in east Springdale south of U.S. Highway 412 and about a half-mile from Arkansas Highway 265. There eventually will be six 5-plexes.

The two-level townhouses will have landscaping and rear parking and will rent for about $650 per month.

to Open Springdale Plant

Arkhola Sand & Gravel Co. of Fort Smith purchased a building permit valued at $627,000 to begin construction on a new ready-mix plant in Springdale.

The facility, projected to open in January, will be 11,009 SF and will be at 4800 N. Oak St. It is in north Springdale, just north of Arkansas Highway 264 near T&K Lumber Co.

Kinco Constructors LLC of Springdale is the general contractor on the project.

Arkhola already has ready-mix plants in Fayetteville, Rogers and Centerton.

Pointing to Rogers Addition

Paul Pinkley of Bentonville recently purchased five building permits valued at a combined $484,500 to build several new homes at an east Rogers subdivision.

Stoney Point subdivision is east of U.S. Highway 71-Business off New Hope Road near Monte Ne.

All of the latest homes will be on East Rachel Lane and will be about 1,850 SF each.

Trim Line Design Adds to Cambridge

Trim Line Design construction company of Springdale on May 10 got five loans totaling $542,000 from United Bank of Springdale to add more homes at a Lowell subdivision.

Cambridge subdivision is located in northeast Lowell. The subdivision was developed by Mike Pennington of Pennington Development in Springdale.

Homes at Cambridge will be about 1,710 SF each.

Lazenby Adding Homes at Blue Springs Village

Bill Lazenby on July 26 got five loans totaling $420,800 from Regions Bank of Rogers to build more homes at a subdivision near Beaver Lake.

Blue Springs Village is east of U.S. Highway 412 near Sonora and Nob Hill. It has 165 lots.

Homes at Blue Springs Village will be priced between $85,000-$145,000 and 1,355-1,400 SF. This will be the first moderately priced subdivision with its own pool, clubhouse and park on Beaver Lake. It is a planned community with a restricted covenant of design and quality.

Dan Dykema, Rick McCullough and Mark Marquess of Sierra LLC and Central Village Inc. took over the small existing subdivision and have developed the new concept.
