Lucas Roebuck began work July 23 as assignment editor for television station NBC 24/51, KPOM/KFAA, in Fayetteville.

Roebuck, the former managing editor of the Northwest Arkansas Times, was serving as interim editor of the Rogers Hometown News when he was hired by NBC 24/51.

Roebuck left the Times in January to run for state representative for District 97. He lost that election to Mike Kenney of Siloam Springs.

Don Groves, a night editor at the Benton County Daily-Record, was hired in mid-July as managing editor at the Rogers Hometown News.

Both newspapers are owned by Community Publishers Inc. of Bentonville.
